The Herriman Towne Center is a unique master-planned community located on 375-plus acres in the southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley. The Towne Center came about through the cooperation of The Sorenson Group, Herriman City and Salt Lake County and will include a mix of civic, residential, retail and recreational space. The civic core of the project will encompass more than 35 acres of the Towne Center and will be the home to a new city hall, county recreation center, county library, elementary school and community park. Mixed-use retail areas and residential neighborhoods, including condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes will radiate out from the civic core. Acreage for churches, parks and walking paths has also been incorporated into the plan to create a complete community atmosphere in the center of one of the fastest-growing cities in the state.
